Folk group Trys Keturiose is singing a traditional Lithuanian polyphonic ritual folk song of the rye-reaping genre from Girdžiūnai village near Rimšė in Northern Lithuania (Aukštaitija) during festival MJRXVII Mėnuo Juodaragis 2014 by the fire altar in Skinderiškis dendrological park. In the past women used to go to the rye fields singing these songs for the rye because it was believed that this will ensure a good harvest. In other Lithuanian ethnographic regions rye-reaping songs are mostly monophonic.
